We are all living in the fast growing world, our life is at the pace of ease and comfort. This comfort is affecting different dynamics and disciplines of work, and one of the field is Agriculture and farming.
As we see a coin has two different sides, similarly, everything has some disadvantage along with its advantages. And we neglect the negative part of it, which for seeking our own benefits.
Today, we will talk about the affecting factors that are harmful for plants. Our focus is on the air quality which we have at present, is fit for crops and plants, or not?
Factors affecting air quality
There are tremendous reasons behind the increase of air pollution, that have hazardous effects on plants and crops.
Some of these factors are:-
Population
Industrialization
Urbanization
The chemicals present in air such as sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, ozone and particulate matters are destroying the the natural growth of crops and plants, and its production.
We all have studied in Science that how the thermal power and transport sector contributes in air pollution.
Since last few decades, the pollutants from the industries and the ambient air around these industrial areas, increase the air pollution and damages the plants.
Experiment studies shows that particulate matters present in the air directly effects the upper layer of plant. The results showed that these matters reduces agricultural produce.
There vast affects the plants are also from indirect factors such as-
Pollutant concentration
Duration of explosure
Climatic factors
By these, the yield of different species of crops is reducing.
Winding Words!!
We are all aware of the facts and effects, but are not responsive to the devastating effects air pollution has or will have on us.
We all are so addicted to this life, that we do not want to sacrifice a bit of our pleasure for the benefit of our society.
All of a sudden we cannot do anything, but for a change we all have to take a few measures on daily basis to have a bit control over this hazardous air pollution.
